FLUORIDE & SEALANT TREATMENTS TO PREVENT CAVITIES
Protecting the enamel of your teeth is the best way to prevent cavities. At Paradise Dental Care, we offer a variety of sealant and fluoride treatments that help remineralize the natural enamel that protects your teeth. This prevents the buildup of bacteria that causes cavities.
FLUORIDE TREATMENTS
If you have sensitive teeth from gum recession or natural wear, fluoride treatment will coat and insulate them. Fluoride is a compound that exists abundantly in living tissue and is easily absorbed into tooth enamel. It helps to make the entire tooth structure resistant to decay even before damage is visible.
Fluoride inhibits bleeding of tender gums caused by plaque bacteria. It can also help prevent treated gums from becoming infected again. If you currently wear braces, fluoride treatments are even more important as a way to help control gingivitis as well as decalcifications. It will also prevent recurring decay around crowns and bridges and block plaque formation around implants. If you have dentures, a fluoride treatment can help control bad breath and irritation from wearing your them.
